Bye Bye 2013. Was nice to meet you!!!

We are about to say goodbye to 2013.  Some of you will do so with sadness, thinking of all that this year has brought, some others with joy, because the best is yet to come … From London Low Cost we wish you a 2014 full of joy and good news;-)

But before saying goodbye to this year  we want to make a summary of all the experiences and adventures we have lived in London through our photo book.

Let’s start with our favorite season of year: summer. The warm weather (really short for two mediterranian girls) allowed us to enjoy the city at 100%. During this year, we have made several picnics in different parks, one of the most fun and economical plans for the summer season. Hyde Park has not only witnessed our “binge” but so has our bike rides. We also enjoyed the London pools, outdoor theaters and even a session of opera in Trafalgar Square, and much more,…

Keep calm & Merry Christmas!!!

Oxford Street lights

Like every year Christmas is making itself a space among us slowly. Most of you maybe have noticed some signs already like the appearance of clothing, decoration and Christmas food in stores, Christmas lights in a few corners,… But since yesterday we can say that Christmas is installed to stay in London, at least for a month and a half.

Traditionally, the holiday season starts with the lighting of Oxford Street. And yesterday the Londoner singer Jessie J was in charge of flicking the switch to kick off the most beautiful season in the city for us (leaving the cold side).

But not only Oxford Street is a symbol of Christmas in London, other streets an areas of the city also offer decorations worthy of being part of our Christmas cards. A few meters from Oxford Street you will find Carnaby Street, that yesterday also inaugurated its holiday season filled with hundreds robins that fly over the heads of passersby.
